ScopeofWork:

The primary purpose of this position is to provide base operations support through the performance of general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings.

Responsibilities:

  • Performcleaningandhousekeepingrequiredinperformanceofnormalmaintenanceactivities.
  • Assistinpreventivemaintenanceonbarriers,gates,overheaddoors,HVAC,carpentry,plumbing,andother work as directed.
  • Performcleaningandassistinthepreventivemaintenanceofpoolsandfountainsasdirected.
  • Assistelectriciansinavarietyoftaskssuchastoreplaceelectricalreceptacles,wires,switches,fixtures,and motors.
  • Useplasterorcompoundtopatchminorholesandcracksinwallsandceilings.
  • Repairorreplacesinks,watercoolers,andtoilets,paintingstructuresandequipment.
  • Repairorreplaceconcretefloors,steps,andsidewalks,replacedamagedpanelingandfloortiles,handdoors and install door locks, replace broken window panes, and perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
  • Assistinrepairofindoorplumbingsystems,repairandmaintenanceofutilitygaswaterandsewerpiping, valves, and systems.
  • Replacefilters,cleaningcoils,replacebelts,pumpsandmotors,waterremediation,cleanmechanicalrooms as well as changing batteries in locks and smoke detectors.
  • Maintainaccountabilityforalltoolsassigned.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

MinimumRequirements:

  • Theworkofthegeneralmaintenanceworkerrequirespracticalskillandknowledge(butnotproficiency)in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work. Minimum of two (2) years' relatedexperience and/orformalvocational/technicaltraininginavarietyofbuildingand/orutility trades.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • MustbeabletosuccessfullycompleteaNationalAgencyCheckwith Inquiries (Tier 1) background check.
  • MusthaveandmaintainavalidCOstatedriver'slicense.
  • Commercial Driver's License Class "B" preferred but not required.
  • Mustbeabletosuccessfullycompleteadrug/alcoholtestandacriminalrecordcheck.
  • Musthaveasafedrivingrecord,asdefinedbyCompanypolicy,tooperateacompanyvehicle.
  • Musthavepracticalknowledgeofworksitesafety,occupationalhazardsandstandardsafetypractices.
  • Mustbeabletoperformdutiesunderadverseweatherconditions(extremecold/heat,etc.).
  • MustbeabletoperformOn-calldutieswhenscheduledandreporttoworkwithinonehourofnotification.
  • Mustbeabletoworkalternateshiftscheduleswhennecessarytomeetthemissionrequirementsofthe customer, to include weekends and holidays.
  • Physicallyfittobend,stoop,andliftinawkwardpositionsandabletoliftupto60lbs.
  • Must possess the ability to work in a team or alone and be able to change jobs on short notice and holidays.
