The primary duties of the Highway Roadway EIT/Coordinator include working in a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects. More specific duties include: roadway geometrics, drainage, development of plans, construction estimates subsurface utility engineering and coordination of utilities. Other responsibilities will include providing assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications, and calculations. Proficiency with ArcGIS, OpenRoads Designer, Civil 3D and/or Geopak roadway design software is a plus.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Ability to develop designs using ArcGIS, OpenRoads Designer, Civil 3D GeoPak or other transportation design software packages.
  • MS Office experience required.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture.
  • Good team player with great communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • EIT certification strongly preferred. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of 'Coordinator' and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
  • 1 years doing highway and roadway design preferred
  • Preference given to local candidates

The expected compensation range for this position is $62,560.00 - $93,104.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
