TMC, a LinQuest company is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist I (Part Time College) to join our team on site in Colorado Springs. The ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance is required.

The Supply Chain Specialist I (Part Time College) will perform, with guidance, varied supply chain tasks and activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily warehouse operations to include tracking inventory parts, material, tools, and test equipment
  • Assist with staging, inspecting, organizing and documenting open (temporary) and sequestered storage daily
  • Assist with populating material management Information System (MMIS) with material management data and documentation
  • Assist with generating reports from MMIS
  • Assist with updates and corrections for MMIS data and documentation as appropriate
  • Assist with organizing and filing material management documentation
  • Assist with daily warehouse operations: packaging, handling, shipping, receiving, transportation
  • Assist with scheduled and unscheduled inventories, and audit preparatory
  • Assist with part marking activities
  • Maintain warehouse safety practices in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and within the regulations of all OSHA local and state regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • 0 - 1 years of experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be actively enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in an applicable discipline (e.g. Supply Chain Management, Supply Logistics)
  • Excellent people skills, attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal skills required.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Intermediate computer skills required with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Understand operational pace and need for assignments to be completed timely

Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from approximately $15.00 to $16.87/hour depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
